Welcome on my website.
I'm Colin GILLE, nickname: Congelli501. I put here all my free software. So they are open source and freely and legally downloadable.
You can find many types of programs here (small utility, games, school programs...)
But they have some common points:

• My programs are simple to use and they are light : their only goal is to do what they are meant to do, and nothing else.
• Most of them are multi-platform. This means that they will be able to work on several different operating systems.
  • GNU/Linux: that's the operating system I use. All my programs works on that system. Debian packages for Ubuntu are available, for other distributions, you can use the source tarball.
  • GWindows: When it's possible, I create a Windows version for the programs I make. They are tested with the latest versions of the Microsoft's operating system.
  • GMacOS: I don't own a Mac... Nevertheless most of my programs should work on MacOS, you just have to build them !

In short, you will surely find a program that interest you !

Wake On Lan

C501 Wale On Lan, is a small tool that enable you to wake up a powered off computer connected on your Ethernet network.

This program can create a MAC address list, so that you can use them easily later to wake up a computer.
Moreover, on UNIX operating systems, as Ubuntu, c501 Wake On Lan can auto detect MAC addresses (using the arp table).

C501 Checkers

C501 Checkers is a checkers game. You can use international rules (10x10 sized board) or English rules (8x8 sized board).
Moreover, you can fight against your computer (5 levels are available) or another human.

Bombe Hunter

This game is made for two or one player(s). You are a super demining team.
The goal is to bring the bomb that the players transport to the exit of the building.
The bomb is launched between the players to progress in the levels (warning, if the bomb hits a wall, you have to restart the level !

The two players go throw the level by exchanging their roles. Each player chose a character and keeps its control during the game. The players exchange the mouse (which need to be put between the two players) when they exchange their roles.

Many levels are avaible in two different game modes.

This game have been created with Nicolas DESMARS and Matthieu CARRE, who have imagined and created the game levels and who have created design.

Devis Maker

Invoice & Estimate maker is a free program that enable you to create featured invoices and/or estimates.
It's cross-platform and easy to use : you just have to enter information about your products (price, name, reference, tax rate) and then you can create your own invoice in a few clicks.
Moreover, the invoices (or estimates) are entirely customisable. For example, you can add your own logo on the invoices... and much more !

Maxi Shoot 2

Maxishoot2, or Bottle2D is an improved rewrite of Maxishoot, a game that I published a long time ago.
Maxishoot2 is the same type of game as Maxishoot : that's a "shoot them up" game in which the goal is to protect your base against enemy missiles.

On the other hand, this new game doesn't share much with its ancestors. Indeed, this new version contains a new design, some beautiful special effects based on particles and new weapons and missiles.
Moreover, Maxishoot2 uses a new type of gameplay : now, you have to chose what part of your equipment you want to improve (more life, new weapons, faster reload...). You choose !

The goal is very simple : kill as many enemies as you can (missiles, shells, planes, shield vacuum...), protect your base and save the bonuses (health, money) which are only active when they touch your shield.

In a few words, try it !

WinUSB

WinUSB is a simple tool that enable you to create your own usb stick windows installer from an iso image or a real DVD.

This package contains two programs:
- WinUSB-gui: a graphical interface which is very easy to use.
- winusb: the command line tool.

Supported images: Windows Vista, Seven+ installer for any language and any version (home, pro...) and Windows PE.

Letter Games

This Package contains games with letter :
- The Longest Word: You have to find the longest word with given letter.
- Hang Man: You have to guess a word by giving letter.

Mem Write

This small program is a free and open source equivalent of ArtMoney (on Windows) or The Cheat (on Mac)... but it works only with Linux.
With it you can edit numbers stocked in your computer memory... to cheat in game... for example.

Features:
- Works with a Graphical User Interface (no command-line).
- What ever happened, Linux protect your memory : you can only edit selected program's memory.

Limitations:
- Doesn't work with wine.

LCD Nurse

Repair dead pixels is now possible on Linux (GNU/Linux) ! LCD Nurse is a free program wich enable you to "heal" dead pixels on your LCD screen thanks to the blink method.
This program is divided in two parts :
- A dead pixel hunter, which enable you to locate the dead pixels : LCD Nurse.
- A screen saver, which make these pixels blink : LCD Nurse Saver.

This program is only compatible with UNIX operating systems (Linux, Mac...).

PlayOnLinux Vault

PlayOnLinux Vault is a PlayOnLinux plugin which enables you to save and to restore your PlayOnLinux's applications.

Deb Test

This package contains two programs:
* Debtest
Debtest will check your installed debian packages. It will verify files existency and md5sums. It can also reinstall corrupted packages.
It can give false alarm, but it's not dangerous, the packages are just reinstalled.

* Debfilter
Debfilter will create a list of every files installed on your computer and compare it to the real file list. You must not delete directly
the files given by this program: most of them are created by the packages and should not be removed !

Forbidden 2 Forget

Forbidden 2 Forget is a little multi-OS program which allow its users to learn easily the English irregular verbs. Every levels are represented : 5e, 4e, 3e and 2nd (every irregular verbs).
It's really easy to use : You just have to create a verb file and to save it. Then you can start using it ! A French verb is given, and you have to fill the irregular forms (present, preterit, past participle). Each verbe must be succeeded five time.
Moreover, some statistics show your progress.

Maxi Shoot

Maxishoot is a little game. The goal is very simple : kill as many enemies as you can (missiles, shells, planes, fire balls...), protect your base and save the bonuses (health, additional bullets, slight) which are only active when they touch your protection shield. Moreover, you can create your own levels and change completely the game !

Resistance Value

Resistance value enable you to know a resistance value, by giving its color, and vice versa. It's simple and effective !
